Store atmosphere

The shape of the store building resembles a candle, giving it a very stylish appearance. The interior was designed to resemble a chapel at a wedding venue, and it felt like I was in a special place. In addition, original products are displayed for easy viewing, candle objects are placed here and there, and the light from the top lights illuminates the off-white space inside the store, giving the atmosphere a feeling of being enveloped in a sacred worldview. It was also great. That's no wonder, as the interior design was done by Yasumichi Morita of GLAMOROUS co.,ltd., who has designed many famous commercial facilities.

``Light MUSEUM'' that you can enjoy for free

If you go from the center of the store to the right, you will find the entrance, and once you pass through the automatic door, you will find yourself in a completely different world, with candlelight illuminating the dimly lit space. It is a museum called ``Akari MUSEUM'' with the theme of candlelight. There were many lights twinkling in the dimly lit space, and I was once again reminded of the beauty of candles. The magical space surrounded by the gentle light of candles gave me a soothing feeling. It looks like it will be one of the date spots.

Original candle making experience (after grand opening)

At the "workshop" space attached to the store, you can enjoy making your own original candles. A trial event was held at the opening event, but full-scale operation will begin in May. In addition to the easy-to-enjoy candle making experience (reservations required), there are also plans to hold classes on candle making.

What can I buy at the store?

From fashionable items to collaboration products with companies, we have a wide range of products.

Kameyama sells original goods such as Kameyama's original lanterns, incense sticks and candles such as sweets packages made in collaboration with companies, retro design cans that give you a sense of Kameyama's history, and other original goods available only at Candle Town Store. We have a wide variety of original candle products. I thought it would be perfect as a gift. Please buy it as a souvenir from Mie.

We recommend the ``WoodWick'' candle series, which has a wooden wick. It makes a crackling sound while it burns, making it a soothing sound similar to a bonfire or fireplace. We also recommend the cute candles and incense sticks that were originally developed to give to the deceased in the shape of their favorite alcoholic drinks or sweets.

Grand opening in May

The grand opening will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, with reservations required for factory tours and a workshop space where you can make candles. It will truly be a candle entertainment facility where you can "see," "make," "learn," and "buy."
