At the aquarium "Ise Sea Paradise" in IseCity Mie Prefecture, you can purchase a "fish stamp" as a souvenir of your visit. It's so cute! It's become a hot topic.
Currently, three different designs of "fish stamps" are on sale: a frog, a seahorse, and an Asian small clawless otter. These efforts are attracting attention, as the proceeds from the sale of the fish stamps will be used as a condolence gift to the Notojima Marine Park Aquarium, which was damaged in the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake.

A seahorse fish stamp in honor of the Year of the Dragon
At Ise Sea Paradise, there are many kinds of seahorses on display, and you can even try wrapping one around your hand!
Seahorses are unusual creatures in that the female lays eggs in the male's pouch and raises them in her stomach until the eggs hatch and become fry. Ise Sea Paradise has designated July 7 as "Seahorse Day," and has chosen the fish seal design for the event!

New arrival! Clawless otter fish stamp
The Asian clawless otter is a rare species of otter with only five remaining in Japan, and Ise Sea Paradise is the only place where you can interact with them.
The fish was chosen as the motif for the red seal because Wednesday, May 29, 2024, is World Otter Day. It will be available until Friday, May 31.
