ShimaSpainVillage Village will be open for night skiing from April 27th (Saturday) to May 5th (Sunday, national holiday) during Golden Week, and a spectacular night parade and spectacular fireworks will brighten up the park at night. There will be plenty of events to keep you engrossed both day and night, including cheerful and bright entertainment and the sale of large pots of paella. A waterfall aquarium opened on Saturday, April 20, 2024! The Japan Salamander Center, located in Muroo Akame Aoyama Quasi-National Park, the village where ninjas trained, has reopened as the Akame Falls Aquarium. Based on the concept of "an aquarium connected to the nature of TheAkame48Falls," this huge aquarium is integrated with a real waterfall and the valley where the special natural monuments live. Come experience the aquarium surrounded by magnificent nature.

Swim ShichiriMihamaBeach! Carp streamers (KumanoCity)
Location: ShichiriMihamaBeach KumanoCity
Date: April 28th (Sun) - May 6th (Mon, National Holiday), 2024
Approximately 200 carp streamers swim on ShichiriMihamaBeach in KumanoCity. The carp streamers swim comfortably in the wind.
Carp streamers soar into the sky from Shishiwao over a distance of about 1 kilometer, with the Kumano Sea (Pacific Ocean) in the background. The brave sight of them swimming through the sky is a sight to behold.
*It is extremely dangerous to view this while driving along National Route 42, so please park in a nearby parking lot.

Ninjas appearing in the city!? Iga Ueno NINJA Festa 2024 will be held! A "town" ninja event unique to Iga, the home of ninjas. Change into a ninja costume and enjoy a ninja training experience!

Goldfish Festival (KuwanaCity)
Location: The area around Chinkokusyukoku-JinjaShrine (Yoshinomaru KuwanaCity)
Date: Thursday, May 2nd and Friday, May 3rd, 2024 (National Holiday)
Annual festival of Chinkokusyukoku-JinjaShrine. Children carry goldfish mikoshi of various shapes from each shrine parishioner town and parade them around. At Chinkokusyukoku-JinjaShrine, the treasure hall will be open to the public.
