Kazahaya no Sato 2024 Hydrangea Festival (TsuCity)

The Kazahaya no Sato Hydrangea Festival sees approximately 77,700 hydrangeas of 45 varieties blooming in 33,000 square meters of hydrangea flower beds and large slopes.
The "flank flowers" begin to change color around the end of May, and by mid-June all varieties have beautiful coloring and are in their "big bloom" stage. After the "true flowers" have bloomed, the flank flowers change color to "shabby chic" (from iridescent to brown).
The hydrangeas at Kazahaya Village create a fantastic scene with the sunset and hydrangeas, making for a spectacular sight!
