The hydrangeas at Daijiji Temple in Shima are in bloom! They are in full bloom now.

When it comes to hydrangea temples in Shima, the first one that comes to mind is Daiji Temple in Nakiri, Daio Town!
They are expected to start blooming in late May and reach their peak in early June.
June 8th and 9th for Hydrangea Festival will be held!
In this topic, we will introduce in detail the state of the hydrangeas at the time of the visit, photos from last year's best viewing, and the temple's amulets and goshuin (temple seals).
This year, the best time to see the hydrangeas is early June! A hydrangea festival will also be held.
I visited on May 24th, and although some of the flowers were in full bloom, overall it seemed like they still had a long way to go!
According to what I heard, the flowers tend to bloom earlier every year, but this year the best time to see them is expected to be early June.
June 8th (Saturday) and 9th (Sunday),
The Hydrangea Festival and Hydrangea Marche will be held.
