I was wondering what Pasta Stadium was, so I visited a pasta restaurant that turned out to be amazing, so let me introduce it to you.

I went to Pasta Stadium Yorokoba Shokudo Tsu branch, located near TsuCity Science City.

With the motto of making people happy, this restaurant values food, people, and space, and has many great features, such as its specialty coffee and all-you-can-eat pizza. We will introduce the charms of Yorokoba Shokudo in detail, as well as useful information such as access and parking!

At Yorokoba Shokudo, you can watch the impressive carbonara being made right before your eyes.

The "Yorokonara" carbonara, which has three times the amount of cheese as regular carbonara, was delicious.

Even though it contains three times the amount of cheese, it doesn't mean it's "a lot of cheap cheese."

1) Burn Parmigiano Reggiano, the king of cheeses

Once melted, coat the surface of the pasta with Parmigiano Reggiano.

3) Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and roast with a burner to bring out the rich flavor.

4. Scented with truffle oil

5. Sprinkle Pecorino Romano on top like grated radish.

Just reading the words makes it look delicious.

I was captivated by the clean atmosphere of the restaurant and the manager's finishing performance, and I was thrilled by the way the pasta was prepared, which made me feel like I was watching a show!

What is Parmigiano Reggiano?

Due to its rarity, Parmigiano Reggiano is also known as the "king of cheeses."
Using selected ingredients and a strict manufacturing process that requires maturing the product for at least a year, you can enjoy its rich flavor and mellow aroma.
Not all of the above can be called "Parmigiano Reggiano" cheese; only cheese that has passed the strict DOP inspection can be called "Parmigiano Reggiano".

All-you-can-eat "exquisite pizza" baked in a stone oven

For an additional 698 yen, you can get a mini salad, all-you-can-eat pizza, all-you-can-drink drinks, and all-you-can-drink soup for lunch, so even the male writer was very satisfied with the portion size.

You can choose from 19 different types of pizza, each one baked in a stone oven after being ordered, resulting in a pizza with a chewy yet moist crust that is a whole new sensation.

They also accept half-and-half pizza orders, and this time I enjoyed four different types of pizza recommended by the manager.

① Margherita
②Pizza with shrimp and aonori seaweed from Matoya Bay
③Apple custard cinnamon
4. Honey, milk gelato and whey cookies

Did you notice the word "whey" in the title? In the next chapter, I would like to touch on the passion of Yorokoba Shokudo.

"Whey pasta" is rare nationwide

Whey is a food called milk serum, but in the past, its nutritional value was not well known and it was often thrown away. However, as medical science and nutritional science have developed and further research has revealed that it has high nutritional value. The protein contained in whey has been attracting particular attention, and many of the popular proteins these days are whey proteins derived from whey.

After much trial and error, Yorokoba Shokudo has succeeded in incorporating whey into pasta, pizza, and cookies.

This restaurant is so rare that it is known nationwide as "whey pasta = Yorokoba Shokudo."

When I heard about the process behind developing whey pasta, I understood Yorokoba Shokudo's desire to "make people happy," and it made my heart warm!

In the midst of repeated research and trial and error into pasta, with the desire to make delicious, safe and secure pasta available to everyone, Yorokoba Shokudo came across whey, which was gaining attention as an excellent ingredient.Yorokoba Shokudo then came across Suzuki Farm in Misugi-TsuCity Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, who told them that whey was a by-product produced when making cheese from milk, and that it was a waste to throw it away as industrial waste.Yorokoba Shokudo then thought long and hard about how they could use it effectively, and successfully developed whey pasta.

I was struck right in the heart by the thoughtfulness of Yorokoba Shokudo in combining deliciousness with health, and in their consideration for both their customers and the environment, wanting to make effective use of whey that would otherwise become industrial waste!

When I actually tried it, the whey pasta had a unique chewy texture, and the pizza was chewy yet moist, creating a new and enjoyable dining experience.

"Kodawari Coffee" is a specialty coffee that is hand-picked

I think the headline will convey just how great it is to coffee connoisseurs. Let me introduce the passion that Yorokoba Shokudo pours into their coffee.

I didn't know this, but there are four grades of coffee, and the top of those is the "specialty" grade, which only accounts for about 5% of the coffee in circulation. As you may have noticed, Yorokoba Shokudo only uses these "specialty" beans.

Furthermore, even among these high-quality beans, there are low-quality beans mixed in, so they are removed one by one by hand and roasted in a roaster next to the store, and the beans are served as an all-you-can-drink menu. (How much time and effort does that take... It makes me wonder if it's profitable.)

The coffee was so delicious! When I drank it, I thought to myself, "The coffee I drank before had so many unpleasant flavors," as it was so delicious that I didn't notice any unpleasant flavors at all.

The beans are so delicious that both VISON and Aquaignis desire them, and Yorokoba Shokudo sells their carefully selected beans at their other stores.

"All-you-can-drink" coffee for those who can't drink

If you drink coffee
"What is this flavorless coffee?
Is that really coffee?"
I was surprised.
Even the author, who is not very knowledgeable about coffee,
The difference in taste is noticeable.
I wondered what this was and asked,
We are passionate about coffee too.
Plus, all-you-can-drink...
I was surprised at how much it made me happy.

"Your own coffee"

The store manager's father is a roaster who holds the Advanced Coffee Meister qualification, one of only six people in Mie Prefecture.

This amazing dad will be running a bean selection experience where you can discover your own preferences.

An "Advanced Coffee Meister" will teach you about coffee beans with different levels of acidity and bitterness, as well as the roasting time and amount of water to brew, allowing you to choose your own original beans to suit your preferences.

Each experience costs 3,000 yen and lasts for about an hour and a half. They believe it is important to "create an opportunity to talk face-to-face", so they do not advertise on social media, but rather run the place based solely on word of mouth.

Being able to customize such delicious coffee to your liking is what it means to have the best coffee, isn't it?I'll definitely make a reservation and return.

A space that makes workers happy

Yorokoba Shokudo provides a place of employment for people who need support.

Heartwarming artworks are on display inside the store, including this one created by Kitaoka Sho, who has high-functioning autism.

There are many other things I couldn't write about in this article, and their desire to "make everyone happy" is as hot as the sun (although they don't show it on the surface)! I've become a big fan of Yorokoba Shokudo, who puts all their effort into everything they do in various areas.

They previously had stores in Suzuka and Nagoya, but due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, they are now only open at the Tsu store.

I can't believe I never knew about such a wonderful store before...everyone should definitely visit it.

Shonan no Kaze (Young Master) also visited

Yorokoba Shokudo can also be used as a venue for private parties and events.
Wakadanna (Shinra Shinji), a member of Shonan no Kaze, also sang at Yorokoba Shokudo, and it seems that many people came to see him.
