What is ASPIATamaki?

"ASPIATamaki" in TamakiTown, Mie Prefecture is a complex consisting of Fureainoyakata (hot spring) and Furusato Aji Kobo Agri (direct market). Locally grown produce and the local specialty "Tamaki pork" can be purchased here. The restaurant that serves fresh vegetables grown at the facility is also popular with locals.

In addition, ASPIATamaki cultivates seasonal flowers such as sunflowers and cosmos for the enjoyment of visitors. The white swings that are set up during the season have become a hot topic on social media, making it a popular "photogenic spot." People of all ages, from families with children to the elderly, visit the facility, enjoying the hot springs, meals, and taking beautiful photos.

When will Agri's Sunflower Fields be in full bloom in 2024?

The "Agri Sunflower Field" managed by ASPIATamaki is usually cultivated in several seasons, so the sunflowers can be enjoyed over a long period of time. However, unfortunately, in 2024, the sunflowers will only be in one season.

As of July 1, 2024, approximately 80% of the flowers are in bloom, and the best viewing time is expected to be around July 10.

The event will take place in a 22-acre field located right next to the farm market, where an estimated 40,000 sunflowers will be in full bloom. There will also be a mini observation deck and white swings set up so that visitors can see the sunflowers from above.

You can enjoy the sunflower fields with your dog too!

In fact, Agri's sunflower fields are popular among dog lovers because you can view them with your dog. Why not take a photo of your cute dog with the 40,000 sunflowers in the background?

If you put your dog on a chair provided for taking photos, it will be higher and easier to take pictures. However, when putting your dog on the chair, make sure to lay a cafe mat on it first.

Also, dogs are not allowed on the grass area next to the farm market. Apparently, in the past, there were many instances of droppings not being cleaned up, and it was a difficult decision to ban dogs there, so if you have a dog with you, please make sure to clean up after it. Please follow the rules and let's make sure everyone, dog owners and non-dog owners, have a pleasant time here♪
