In the Ida Hariba district KihoTown this festival is held on August 9th before the Obon festival, when visitors pray to the Kannon statue to console the spirits of their ancestors and hold a grand Bon dance to commemorate the festival.It has been practiced since the Edo period. It is a traditional festival that continues (held on August 9th every year).
At the venue, dances such as ``Yassanose'' and ``Jinku'' begin around the tower, and when the excitement begins, the ``Irohaku-dance'' is performed, which has been practiced since the Edo period and depicts the use of brooms to drive away pests in the fields. .
