The Moroto Garden, which was called ``E no Okuden'' during the Muromachi period and is said to have already had a residence and garden, was built as a retirement retreat for the wealthy merchant Yamada Hikozaemon during the Edo period. The main residence, daimon, palace, and ballpark have been designated as important national cultural properties, and the garden has been designated as a national scenic spot. The Moroto Garden will be open to the public in autumn.
In autumn, you can enjoy the autumn leaves of the azalea and maple leaves.
