A fire walking festival is held at Kuwana Shoten, one of Japan's three major holy deities. In addition to the ``Hiwata Shinto ritual,'' in which believers dressed as yamabushi pray for a year of good health and burn goma and walk over it, there is also a procession of children and the ``Ise Grand Kagura,'' which is an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property, and is very crowded. I'll show you.
Anyone can participate in the fire walking ritual. Please come by all means.
