About the 2024 Nabari River Summer Fireworks Festival
Date: Saturday, July 27, 2024 (in the event of strong winds, rain, or other bad weather, the event will be postponed to the 28th)
Launch site: Shinmachi riverside of the Nabari River and Kuroda district NabariCity
The Nabari River Summer Fireworks Festival is scheduled to be held again this year. A total of about 4,000 fireworks, including set-off fireworks and star mines, are planned.
This fireworks festival began in 1932, and although it was temporarily suspended during the war, it has been held continuously since it was revived in 1944.
This year marks the 82nd anniversary of this historic and traditional fireworks festival.
This year, for the first time, we will be conducting crowdfunding to help hold the traditional Nabari River Summer Fireworks Festival in 2024.
As a thank you for your support in the crowdfunding campaign, we will designate a portion of the paid viewing area, which will go on general sale from early July, as crowdfunding-only seats, and we will sell them earlier than anywhere else. We also have a variety of plans available, such as a crowdfunding-exclusive tour of the launch site.
(Crowdfunding period is until Saturday, June 29th)
