JAZZ LIVE with dinner! “The world of guitar played by Yohei Uemura ~Still and dynamic~”

We will be holding a JAZZ LIVE with dinner, with the theme of the unchanging goodness (stillness) based on the tradition of Ise and the undulations and changes (movement) of the dynamic rhythm of jazz.
Due to popular demand, this time we have held the event for the second time.This time, we have invited pianist Koji Goto as a guest, and he will perform on the theme of ``swelling and harmonious interweaving of guitar and piano.''

Guitar: Yohei Uemura
He grew up listening to classical music under the influence of his mother, who is a pianist, and later picked up the guitar. He became interested in jazz after listening to Pat Metheny and Wes Montgomery, and learned the basics of jazz guitar from Ikuo Shiosaki, one of Japan's leading jazz guitarists, and then studied under Yoshitaka Tokaibayashi to further improve his skills. Moved to the United States in his mid-20s and held many sessions in New York. In March 2017, he launched the Hino Jazz Project with trumpeter Aya Takazawa, and has been featured in media such as TV and newspapers. In the same year, he also experienced a live tour in New York, expanding his range of performances. From 2019 to 2020, he joined the Tawarayama Masayuki (Ba) group in his later years. In October 2019, he was invited as a Japanese guitarist and soloist at a jazz event commemorating the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Finland and Japan. Aiming to be a gentle and melodious guitar player with the philosophy of cool & hot. Currently active mainly in Tokyo and Nagoya areas.

Piano: Koji Goto
Born in Nagoya City in 1973. Under the influence of his father, he began playing classical piano at the age of 4, and upon entering Nanzan University, he became interested in jazz, and began performing while still in school. In 2004, she participated in four songs on Kimiko Ito's (Vo) album ``Once You've Been In Love'' produced by Makoto Ozone. In 2007, the album ``hope'' produced in New York with Harvey Mason (drums) and Larry Grenadier (bass) became a hot topic. In 2015, he released the solo piano album “LaRencontre ~Meguriai~”. In 2019, the EROS released their 2nd album “Warm Feelings”. In September 2021, Yuhei Motokawa (bass) will join the unit ``Mie Kouji'' with Mie Joie (vocals), release the album ``the Rest Of Your Life'', and conduct a nationwide tour. Based in Nagoya, he continues to actively perform and compose both domestically and internationally.
