Hirafu Maru and Tamura Maru, the beginnings of the Seikan Ferry, sailed through the 16 years after the Russo-Japanese War, through World War I, and into the Showa era as state-of-the-art ships. Nabegen-style entertainment that depicts modern Japan from the perspective of two ships that connected Hokkaido and Honshu as arteries of logistics and people flow for 16 turbulent years!
