72nd National Fireworks Festival Dedicated to IseJingu Jingu Shrine
Date: Saturday, July 13, 2024 *Postponed date: Saturday, September 7th; in case of bad weather on the 7th, it will be postponed to Sunday, September 8th.
Known as one of Japan's three major competitive fireworks festivals
This historic event was started in 1955 to commemorate the 59th ShikinenSengu as a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to fireworks at IseJingu.
This is a ``competitive fireworks display'' in which fireworks artists selected from all over the country, from Akita Prefecture in the north to Kagoshima Prefecture in the south, present their work to the shrine and release the results of their daily training into the night sky of Ise, the sacred capital of Japan. It is considered one of the major competitions.
The competition division consists of the ``fireworks section,'' in which each pyrotechnician sequentially releases three size 5 balls with a diameter of about 15 cm, and one size 10 ball with a diameter of about 30 cm, and the ``star mine section,'' in which various fireworks are launched rhythmically. It consists of ``Department''.
This year we will also be conducting a crowdfunding campaign.

About 5km (about 15 minutes) from the Ise Expressway "Ise Nishi" IC towards Geku. Approximately 8 km (approximately 20 minutes) from Tamaki IC.
Parking is prohibited near the venue. A temporary parking lot will be provided, but the number of spaces is limited.
