A strange festival related to the Kumano Navy
The Funa-float, Mikoshi, Udono Bayashi Dance, and other dances parade through the Udono area, and there are many other events, such as the Hari-hari Dance, Kumano Navy Taiko drum performances, and mochi digging. The highlight of the festival, the purification ritual, is also a must-see! (22nd eve, 23rd annual festival)
