Wind turbines and azaleas for wind power generation

Countless azaleas grow wild in AoyamaPlateau area, and the flowers bloom all at once in mid-May, creating a spectacular sight. The area near the highest point on the plateau is especially famous for azalea viewing. Tens of thousands of Ericaceae flowers are in full bloom.
You can enjoy the azaleas by taking a walk along the promenade from the triangulation point to Maruyama Grassland. The view from Maruyama Grassland, located about 1.5 km from the trig point, is outstanding, but the number of azaleas has decreased considerably in recent years due to damage from deer and typhoon wind damage.
