Yono Park in IgaCity is home to approximately 15,000 azaleas, one of the largest in Kansai.
Located at the southernmost tip of Suzuka Quasi-National Park, there are three representative types of azaleas that grow wild or are planted within the park: Yamatsutsuji, Mochitsutsuji, and Miyakotsutsutsuji. In addition, there are Mt. Mae Mokko and Mt. Go Mokko in the park, and the azaleas that bloom covering the entire mountain area are spectacular.
