Daishi no Sato Hikozaemon Hydrangea Festival
Date: Sunday, June 9, 2024 9:00-15:00 (rain or shine)
A major event in the village centered around the niu bloom, with the motto of "cherishing water and soil." The most popular thing is definitely the boat ride! ! A local junior high school student will serve as a boatman to guide you through the Ritsubai Canal, which has been registered as a World Irrigation Heritage Site. Please arrive early as there is always a wait time of over 1 hour.
We are looking for vendors to set up shop at the venue and teams to participate in the rice paddy tug-of-war.
For details about the Hydrangea Festival and individual recruitment opportunities, please visit TakiTown website.
