"Sarutahiko BASE" is a tourist farm operated by Sarutahiko Farm. Originally operated as "Suzuka Blueberry Garden," it has been reborn as a comprehensive outdoor facility with new services such as camping, a cafe, BBQ area, RV park, and rental space.

It is a spot where you can enjoy nature to the fullest while being in a convenient location, about 5 minutes by car from the Higashi-Meihan Expressway ``Suzuka IC'' and the Shin-Meishin Expressway ``Suzuka PA'' and within 2 hours from Nagoya and Osaka.

A comprehensive outdoor facility based in a long trailer house!

Based in a long trailer house at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains that embrace TsubakiGrandShrine, this is a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience base where you can replenish yourself with nature without having to bring your own. It's kind of exciting! Here, we will report in detail about "RV Park Sarutahiko BASE" and other services!

By the way, Sarutahiko BASE is a facility that welcomes visitors with their beloved dogs. You can enjoy all services except long trailers with your dog! If you are using the cafe inside the long trailer, you can just keep your pet on a leash. In addition, a limited quantity of 100% organic deer jerky, original to Sarutahiko BASE, which also handles game game, is being given away for free! Additionally, plans are underway to create a dog run within the facility, so it will be a great facility for dog lovers!

RV Park Sarutahiko BASE

The RV park "Sarutahiko BASE" was born as one of the new services of the comprehensive outdoor facility "Sarutahiko BASE". There are currently 4 sections, but they are considering adding more in the future!

The site is spacious at 6m long x 4m wide, and there is also a side awning and space to put out a table and relax. However, due to the characteristics of the foothills, there may be gusts of wind and sudden changes in the weather, so please keep an eye on the weather when using the area.

Bonfire and BBQ space available!

The brick chip area is a space where you can have a BBQ or a bonfire. There is also a large free bonfire stand that you can use freely. Open fires are prohibited, so please use bonfire stands and bonfire sheets. There is also a space where you can try your hand at chopping wood!

There is also a washing area in the brick tip area. The water comes from a well, so you can't drink it, but it's useful for washing dishes.

We had wild game BBQ such as wild boar meat and venison as ingredients for empty-handed camping, but you can also easily enjoy game food at the cafe. We will introduce menus and outdoor experiences that you can enjoy each season, such as deer shabu (winter only) and blueberry picking (summer only)!

The trailer house is open as a cafe on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (11:00-15:00), where you can enjoy drinks and meals such as pot-grilled pizza and game dishes. In addition to game dishes such as deer curry and deer hamburgers, there is also a blueberry smoothie for dessert, and a wide variety of drinks from soft drinks to alcoholic drinks.

[Winter limited] Deer shabu

This time, I received the winter-only "Shika-shabu"! Deer meat is low in fat and light, but rich in protein and iron, making it highly nutritious. By cutting the meat thinly to about 2mm, the blanched meat becomes soft and easy to eat! Honestly, I liked it better than pork shabu. When you hear the word gibier, I think many people have the impression that it has a smell (I was the same way), but it was so delicious that that image was instantly overturned! Recommended for those who are new to gibier.

The winter-only ``Shika Shabu'' can be enjoyed until the end of March. However, due to popular demand, there is a possibility that it will be extended.
