Nabananosato “Firefly Festival”

Nabananosato Sato Firefly Festival will be held from late May to early July.
The magical light of fireflies enlivens the village, heralding the arrival of early summer.
On Nabananosato days, you can see the mysterious light dance of about 1,000 fireflies a day on the approximately 200-meter-long ``Seseragi'' from the area in front of Nabana no Sato's ``Irimura Gate'' to ``Sato no Yu.'' Masu.

Suzuka Firefly Village (SuzukaCity)

Fireflies are one such example of nature that is disappearing despite our rich lifestyles.
What better way to get in touch with nature on a pre-summer night than to watch fireflies as an opportunity to remember the importance of nature?
Suzuka Firefly Village is home to fireflies in an area surrounded by rivers, rice fields, and mountains, and many fireflies can be seen flying along the viewing path. This is one of the spots where you can see fireflies up close.
Fireflies dance wildly on the Yashima River in Nishi-Shonai Town, which is 5 meters wide and hundreds of meters long. You can see many Genji fireflies at Firefly Village.
Why not spend a relaxing time surrounded by the light of fireflies in a quiet village forest?

tanao Firefly Furusato Park (IgaCity)

Hotaru no Furusato Park is an observation deck in the Tanese village surrounded by tanao nature. The surrounding area is known as the ``firefly village'' and you can see many fireflies flying in June.

Wild dance of fireflies [Hiraoi, Ida, konochi districts] (Kiho-cho, KihoTown)

In KihoTown, you can see three types of fireflies: Genji fireflies, Heike fireflies, and Hime fireflies from early May to late June, when rice planting begins every year.
In particular, from early May to late May, the wild dance of Genji fireflies flying over the rural valley rivers in Hiraoi, Ida, and konochi districts is a sight to behold. In addition, while Genji fireflies and Heike fireflies fly to the water's edge, in mid-June you can see Himebotaru fireflies, also known as forest fireflies, shining a silver light in the mountains within the town.
