Senjuji and isshinden
Senshuji, the head temple of the Takada sect of Shinshu Buddhism and home to many national treasures and important cultural properties, is surrounded by subsidiary temples and merchant houses, and a moat runs around the outside, still retaining the appearance of a temple town.
