Sakakura ruins

This ruin is thought to be the site of a village from the early Jomon period (approximately 8,000 years ago).
During excavations in 1971, the remains of a hearth for boiling food and the remains of a hole-in-the-wall dwelling were discovered, and it is estimated that there were several settlements here.
Part of it is currently preserved as "Sakakura Park".
