Wooden sitting statue of Amida Nyorai

A temple of the Tendai Shinsei sect located near MatsusakaCity.
The ``Wooden Seated Statue of Amida Nyorai'' in our collection has been designated as a national important cultural property. It is thought to be a work from the early Kamakura period.
There was a thirteen-storied stone pagoda inscribed in 1298 within this temple, but it has now been moved to Hakusasonso in Kyoto City.
