The riverbed of the Kushida River behind oka Jodoji Temple is called "Hokogase." During the Edo period, there was a ferry here, and the goddess Ubagami is enshrined at the entrance.
It is said that in the past, Yamatohimenomikoto purified his halberd in this river, and that this is the place where the priests of the shrine who lived in oka worship.
A nanny goddess is enshrined at the corner of the road leading down from the highway.
