Firefly Maple Garden

In the Hosoya Valley at the back of the Oshibuchi district, there is a garden called ``Kataru Kaedeen''. A large rock towering over 10 meters tall stands out, and a promenade continues all the way to its base. This ``Horufuen'' was created by an 84-year-old grandfather who creates gardens as a hobby, who fell in love with a large rock at first sight, bought a mountain, and built it by himself. Normally, to prevent wild boars and deer from destroying the garden, there is an electric fence with a timer that goes off after dark, so it is not possible to climb to the base of the large rock, but if you are lucky, you will be able to take care of the garden. You can meet an old man who is doing this and let you in. The view from outside the garden is also spectacular, with azaleas blooming profusely in the spring, countless fireflies flying around in the summer, and colored leaves in the fall.
