There are bungalows and auto camping facilities, and camping equipment rentals are also available, so you can easily enjoy the outdoors.
The floating islands in Ukishima Park Nanto are said to have been floating in the past, when this area was part of the sea. Due to crustal movements, the tip of the mountain, carrying ferns and miscellaneous trees, slipped into the seawater, causing it to rise and fall as the seawater rose and fell. It is said to have been designated as a natural monument of Mie Prefecture in 1942.
