Useful to know about the effects of food on the mind

“Self-healing your mind with food”

Everyone knows that foods high in vitamin C, such as grapefruit, are good for colds. Also, the calcium in fish is said to be good for bones. But did you know that raw vegetables for dinner can cause insomnia? Also, certain foods can worsen stress and anxiety, and certain dietary regimens can serve as ``medicine'' for psychosomatic illnesses.

The influence that food has on the mind (spirit) is already common knowledge in Germany, but it has hardly reached Japan. An expert knowledgeable about this will come to VISON from Germany and give a mini-lecture. Recommended for people suffering from poor health, insomnia, anxiety, depression, or chronic stress.

The lecturer is Dr. Krames, who has studied Zen Buddhism in Fukui Prefecture, acupuncture and oriental medicine in Tokyo, and traditional medicine and Ayurveda at universities and research institutes in Sri Lanka and India.

A fun conversation in Japanese is a series of new discoveries. Don't miss this opportunity while staying in Ise!
