This is a Shinshu Takada sect temple located on the mountain side of TsuCity, just off the Iga Highway.
The ``Wooden Seated Statue of Yakushi Nyorai and Statues of Both Side Samurai'' in the collection are designated as important cultural properties of the country.
Both the principal image and the three flanking samurai (Nikko and Gekko Bosatsu) statues are made from one piece of wood, and are excellent works from the early Fujiwara period.
