Kazahaya no Sato, a flower garden that combines welfare and the environment ~ Hometown of Kappa ~
Facilities eligible for MiepoPlease enjoy the ``healing flower scenery'' that you cannot see in your daily life as a family of three generations.
Kazahaya no Sato - Kappa no Furusato - is 90 minutes from Chubu Centrair International Airport and 5 minutes from the Hisai IC on the Ise Expressway. It is 32 minutes via the Ise Expressway to VISON, one of Japan's largest commercial resorts, 25 minutes via the Chuse Bypass to Senshu-ji Temple, which was designated a national treasure in 2017, 70 minutes via National Route 23 to visit IseJingu, and 41 minutes via the Ise Expressway to the World Heritage Site, the Kumano Kodo Onna-toge Pass Climbing Trail. It is an ideal place to stop and have lunch on your way to or from sightseeing in Ise-Shima.
Kazahaya no Sato is located on the banks of Kazahaya Pond, which has a circumference of 3.8 km, and is located within the Ise Onsen Golf Club on a hilly area of approximately 78,000 square meters. Kazehaya Pond is one of the 800 irrigation ponds built across the country by Emperor Suinin in October of 35 AD. During the Sengoku period, the lord of the Tsushiro domain, TakatoraTodo, named the land where he irrigated it with the name ``Kazehaya,'' hence the name ``Kazehaya Pond,'' and it remains one of the prefecture's leading water sources for rice fields.
"Since 2004, the facility's users and staff have been working together to grow plum blossoms, wisteria, and hydrangeas. As the first flower garden in Japan to incorporate horticultural welfare, the facility is working to combine the environment and welfare."
``Plums'' are available from early February to ``Kankobai'', ``Michirube'', ``Shirakaga'', ``Kagoshima Kobai'', ``Beni-Chidori'', ``Nikkobai'', ``Kotsuru'', ``Bungobai'', ``Minato Kobai'', ``Koume'', and ``Nankobai''. , ``As I Want'' and ``Linzi Plum'', 560 trees of 65 different varieties will bloom in a 25,000 square meter carpet of green grass until late March. ``The best time for plum blossoms is early March.''

From the viewpoint overlooking half of the hydrangea area, a spectacular view will make you cheer. It's a different world created by hydrangeas. Due to the beauty of the plantings that make the most of the environment, it has been praised as the most beautiful hydrangea garden in Japan.

After the "Shinhana" flowers bloom, the Gakuhana flowers turn "Shabby Chic" (they have a certain elegance and elegance in their oldness). You can also take photos of the sunrise (reservations required) and sunset.
In the fall of 2024, the entire flower garden (68,000㎡) is planned to be filled with beautiful cosmos.

Kazahaya no Sato is the ideal spot to take a well-earned rest for lunch en-route to Ise Shima.
Kazahaya no Sato is a hilly area of about 70,000 square meters located within the Ise-Onsen Golf Club beside the Kazahaya Pond, which is 3.8 km in circumference. Kazahaya pond is just one of the 800 irrigation ponds that the Emperor Suinin had made for Japan in the Winter of 35 AD.
In the period of warring states the lord of Tsu castle, Lord Takatora Todo, named Kazehaya the land where irrigation work was to be completed. It has proudly been the water resource for our main rice fields in Mie prefecture ever since.
From 2004 the Social Welfare Corporation Sei jyu kai worked alongside residents and staff of care homes to help us prune, fertilize, weed, improve and remedy soil as well as maintain and operate the management of plums, wisteria and hydrangea. We are happily the first garden in Japan to incorporate gardening welfare and are continually working on blending the environment with the welfare of our close knit community.
We have 56 species of plants with 555 Plum trees including Kankoubai, Michisirube, Shi-rokaga, Kagoshimakoubai, Benichidori, Nikkobai, Benizuru, Bungoume, Minatokoubai, Koume, Nankoubai, and Omoinomama to name but a few.
There are 500 different species and 45 different types such as Rinshibai. These bloom within the 58,000 square meter lawn from early February to late March.
We have 10 types of Wisteria which are named Shirokapitan, Murasakikapitan, Benifuji, Kuchibenifuji, Rokusyakufuji, Kyusyakufuji, Nagasakissaifuji, Yaekokuryufuji, Ko-kuryufuji and Shironodafuji. These bloom on 10 different types of wisteria trees in an 10 thousand square meter area from the end of April to early May.
We have 35 kinds of Hydrangea such as Aotemari, Shirotemari, Pinktemari, Sumidanohanabi, Sky Blue, Marine Blue, Tsukasa Blue, Chaplit, San Gaia, Red Sensation, Koijigahama, Kas-urarin Pink, Uz, Benigaku, Aogaku, Shirogaku, Nanadanbana, Jogasaki, Jyunihitoe, Hime Ajisai and Annabel.
Please take time to appreciate the special Hydrangea called Selma, Sharona, Serena, Sandra, Sabrina and Soraya which are blooming only in Kazahayanosato from early June to early July.
Take an enjoyable stroll through the singing pheasants and Japanese warblers. Please enjoy the other-worldliness and "healing scenery" which cannot be noticed so often in our modern lives. We wish you to enjoy the gardens and atmosphere from a time some 3 generations past .☆ Amusement in Kazahaya no Sato
