Yanokogawa Valley Trees [Prefecturally Designated Natural Monument] Yanokokage Nijusou

Below the Yanogawa Pass, the area of the valley of the Yano River tributary is a regenerated forest of evergreen broad-leaved trees, and a community of cliff plants grows on the exposed banks within the forest.
It is made up of ferns such as Takimichi fern, Mizo fern fern, Hirohayabusa cycad, and Fuji fern, and flowering plants such as Natsuebine and Iwatobacco.
Trees include Ivananthus, Ryobu, Yamaguruma, Kagikasuzuru, Aoki, and Rhododendron.
It was designated as a prefectural natural monument on March 29, 1957 (S32).
