Ise stencils and Suzuka ink were essential for making patterns for dyeing kimonos, such as small patterns and Yuzen. At the SuzukaCity SuzukaCity Traditional Crafts Hall, which was built to introduce these traditional crafts that Suzuka City is proud of nationwide and to pass on their superior techniques to future generations, you can make your own original bookmark using Ise Katagami.
If you insert a small knife according to the sketch pasted on the paper pattern, you will complete a stylish Japanese-style bookmark. Anyone can easily make it and it makes a great souvenir. After the experience, you can view Ise Katagami works and display tools in the exhibition room.

You can view and edit the sightseeing route (My Plan on My Page) that will take you around the selected spots.
