A monument with a haiku of Seiko Yamaguchi's masterpiece, ``Go out to the sea, leave the tree to die, and find no place'' was erected in the temple grounds in 1977.

The shoin ``Kokare-tei'', named by Seiko after this haiku about Kogarashi, is adjacent to the main hall. This shoin, which Seishi visited many times during her lifetime for haiku meetings, was built in the style of a samurai residence in the mid-Edo period, and was moved to this temple at the beginning of the Meiji period.

Inside Kokare-tei, there are preserved the original handwritten manuscripts of Seiko's haiku monuments, colored paper, hanging scrolls, frames, and photographs of Seiko herself taken around 1950.

Admission to the haiku monument and shoin ``Kokare-tei'' is free.
