anori Lighthouse
A dynamic sea view overlooking from a difficult point in the sea.
It is a rectangular chalk lighthouse that is rare in Japan, and was the setting for the film ``How Many Years of Joy and Sorrow'' directed by Keisuke Kinoshita. The lighthouse was built in 1949 and is now one of Japan's most representative lighthouses, designated as a national tangible cultural property. The surrounding anori Misaki Garden is a grassy field that is crowded with people watching the first sunrise of the year on New Year's Day. If the weather is nice, you can even see Mt. Fuji. Be sure to stop by the lighthouse museum inside the park and the cafe run by local young people.

From Kintetsu Ugata Station, take the Mie Kotsu bus bound for ` anori'' and get off at ` anori Saki Todaiguchi'', then walk for about 10 minutes.
