Tsuhachimangu Shrine
The deity enshrined was Emperor Ojin, and it was deeply revered by successive generations of the Todo clan.
The festival event held at Tsu Hachiman Shrine in mid-October every year is the origin of the Tsu Festival.
The Shinko Festival will be held from 7:30 a.m. to transport the spirits and prepare for the mikoshi parade, and then from 9:00 a.m., traditional performing arts passed down through the ages and dedication performances by local performing arts groups will be held.
