God of victory and luck colored by cherry blossoms

It has been revered by the local people as the guardian deity of Nagata-go since ancient times.
Minamoto no Yoshitsune's party, who were heading to Uji to kill Yoshinaka Kiso, prayed for victory in battle and dedicated turnip arrows. Furthermore, when Hoshi Saigyo lived in Ise, he often came to visit the shrine and composed a waka poem, ``The Azusa bow and the Hikishi robe are also the same as the archer's shrine, and the ink robe.''
Many valuable materials remain, including the 13-story stone pagoda, which is designated as a national and city-designated cultural property.
It is a famous spot for cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, and you can see a panoramic view of Ueno Castle from the road leading down from the shrine grounds.
During the cherry blossom season, the pink foothills of the mountain can be seen from National Route 163.
