In the mountain forest south of the Meihan National Highway, the foundations and surrounding earthworks of the main hall, auditorium, middle gate, and tower remain.
It was built at the request of Emperor Shomu in the Nara period, and its vast area of approximately 62,000 square meters is commonly known as ``Choja Yashiki.''
