Azaka Shrine Azakajinja

It is dedicated to Sarutahiko Okami, who is said to have died in the Asaka Sea after his hand was bitten by a shellfish in the Kojiki. The shrine bush has been preserved in a state similar to that of a natural forest, so it is a valuable vegetation that gives us a glimpse of the original botanical nature of the hills of the Ise Plain. (City-designated natural monument)
