千草水力発電所

国見岳

　御在所岳の北隣にあるのが国見岳で標高は1160ｍあります。山頂付近には、石門、天狗岩、ゆるぎ石など奇岩があるほか、御在所岳の藤内壁を一望することができます。標高730ｍの山中には僧兵ゆかりの三岳寺廃寺跡があります。

五郷十二滝

滝のある谷には大小数十の滝が確認されています。林道沿いに流れる川は手つかずのままでとても美しい清流です。 （座崩林道を進む。）　

有馬の大イブキ

戦国時代の有馬城跡には現在天理教有馬分教会があり、そこに大きく枝を張り、根が盛り上がった威風堂々としたイブキがあります。樹齢は８００年ともいわれています。

湯の谷のカヤの巨木

枝の広がりは２５ｍ四方もあるとても風格のあるカヤの巨木です。秋には巨木の下で「カヤの木祭」も行われます。

石神神社のクスの木

クスの木は千年経つと枝が地につくそうですが、まさにこの巨木の枝は４０ｍもあり、地につくのを鉄のヤグラで支えています。幹周りは１１ｍです。

薬師堂

上五知の集落を一望できる高台にある薬師堂。堂内には、円空作薬師三尊像が安置されている。延宝２年（1674）、円空上人が志摩から朝熊岳に登る途中でこの地に立ち寄り、作ったとされる。杉に彫られた薬師如来、日光菩薩、月光菩薩の柔和なその表情が、時を越えて人々の心をなごませている。

Kusunoki Shrine (Kusunomiya)

jinkyu Kusuhime no Mikoto (Saio of Amaterasu Omikami). After his death, the fishermen built a grave, planted a camphor tree, and enshrined it as Kusunoki oaki in order to repay him for his kindness. It has been revered since ancient times as a guardian deity of long life, maritime safety, and the satisfaction of a big catch. The festival is celebrated on January 22nd of the lunar calendar, and is affectionately known as Kusunoki-san.

Yaegaki Shrine

This shrine is dedicated to Susanoo no Mikoto, and the Tenno Festival held in July is known as the strangest festival in the Shima region.

Dainichido

The main image enshrined is a wooden seated statue of Dainichi Nyorai, said to have been made in the late Kamakura period. The Dainichi Festival is held here twice every year, on January 28th and May 28th of the lunar calendar, to pray for a big catch, and many local residents attend. Additionally, on the ceiling of the main hall are dedicated 47 square flower and bird drawings measuring 40cm on each side, and the bright colors exude a splendid splendor. However, it is not open to the public.

Ukehi Shrine

Nishiyama Tumulus

Kazeori Falls

It is located in the Miyanotani Valley of kahadavalley, upstream of the Kushida River. It is one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls and you can also enjoy the icefall. It got its name because it has a small amount of water compared to its height, so it bends when the wind blows. The course to Kazeori Falls remains a natural path, and it is dangerous to climb through rock holes and climb waterfalls. Please come with sufficient equipment.

Emagoya Gorge
