We want to promote the attractive facilities of Yokkaichi that were supposed to be widely known at the Mie Tokowaka National Athletic Meet and Mie Tokowaka Tournament! With this passion in mind, I personally applied for this job!
Renewal in 2021!
A large green park with various sports facilities 🌲
YokkaichiCity Central Green Space
This time's recommended spot, YokkaichiCity Central Green Park, is a large green park with an athletics track, soccer field, and running course, and is a base for health promotion. There are also cafes and restaurants, making it a place to relax!

Mr. Hanai introduced some of his favorite spots among the many different facilities that are packed together!
The first is···
trim course
Perfect for running! This is a trim course.
A 2km course where you can enjoy running or walking while looking at the greenery and feeling the four seasons!
There is a signboard with the distance from the start written on it, so you can get an idea of how far you have run!
There is no charge for use.
Hanai-san and Yoshi-nii-san also walked outside while chatting!
The colored rubber chip urethane pavement is said to be less slippery and reduce the strain on your legs and hips!
It's fun to see the scenery change all the time, from parks to football fields, as it goes all the way around.
The next recommended spot is...
General gymnasium
Stylish lattice ceiling! This is a general gymnasium that opened in 2020.
The design of the ceiling is very nice!
Wood from Mie Prefecture is used♪
Here are the recommended points for the general gymnasium!
Fully equipped with air conditioning and heating! Even rain is OK!! walking course
Don't worry even if it rains! This is an indoor walking course.
One lap is 320m, and it is fully air-conditioned and heated, making it perfect for when you want to get a little exercise.
It's nice to be able to exercise without worrying about the weather!
You'll be happy to know that it's free of charge!
Here is the next recommended point!
Capable of accommodating 3000 people! arena
The huge arena can accommodate 3000 people!
Sports tournaments are sometimes held here, but individuals can also feel free to use it! (Paid)
On this day, table tennis was open to the public, so the table tennis tables were lined up in rows and rows!
Yoshi-niisan and Hanai-san also decided to enjoy table tennis!
It’s more fun because you can do it in an open space ✨
I played table tennis for the first time in a while! It's nice that you can also rent equipment such as rackets.
Finally, I was asked to tell me the super recommended points!
Kyudo hall
First, let's go to the viewing space!
In fact, there is a glass wall here, so you can see the arrows flying right in front of your eyes.
According to Mr. Hanai, who was a member of the archery club during his high school days, it is rare to find a facility that allows visitors to tour in this environment.
After learning from the Yokkaichi Kyudo Association, Yoshi-nii also tried archery for the first time!
Kyudo classes are held in YokkaichiCity in the spring and fall.
It seems that even inexperienced people can participate as long as they are junior high school students or older.
*Personal use of 1st dan and below requires the companion of a qualified person of 2nd dan or above from the All Japan Kyudo Federation.
When I first came here, I saw such a beautiful and stylish archery hall! I was very surprised. I wanted everyone to know more about it.
Although I didn't hit the target, it's nice to have a facility like this where you can have a new experience♪
lastly···
A word from Mr. Hanai!
I think the appeal of this facility is that you can easily enjoy sports when you visit here.
We also have a restaurant and cafe, so we'd like you to come and visit us on your day off for a change of pace♪
