The peony fields that stretch from Nagazawa-cho SuzukaCity, near the Suzuka Interchange on the Tomei-Han Expressway, are in full bloom.
The peony fields, with approximately 50,000 plants (approximately 200,000 flowers), are among the largest in Japan, and the sight of the gorgeous, large, blooming peonies is a sight to behold.
In this article, we will introduce the latest information on peony blooming and the Suzuka Peony Festival 2024, which will be held on Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th.

The largest peony field in Japan has 50,000 peony plants (approximately 200,000 flowers) in full bloom. There is also a poppy field next to it.

Access: Immediately after exiting the Suzuka Interchange on the Tomei-Han Expressway
Parking: Temporary parking available for 1,000 yen. *Number of spaces is limited.

Located in SuzukaCity cho, Suzuka City, one of the largest peony fields in Japan has 50,000 peony plants (approximately 200,000 flowers) in full bloom. You can also enjoy the bright red poppy flowers at the adjacent poppy field.
In addition, it is also wonderful to take photos of the peonies and the vermilion torii gate of TsubakiGrandShrine, which is located nearby, as well as the peonies with the Suzuka Mountains in the background.

*Please use the temporary parking lots (paid) around the peony fields.
*On-street parking is prohibited.
*Event will be cancelled in case of rain.
On the day of the festival, cut peonies will be sold, as well as peony-related items.
