[Updated May 11, 2023] Japan's largest peony field in SuzukaCity Town, Suzuka is in full bloom! You can also enjoy poppies!

Address: Nagasawa Town, SuzukaCity, Mie Prefecture

​Access: Immediately after getting off the Higashi-Meihan Expressway "Suzuka IC" (There will be lane restrictions on the Higashi-Meihan Expressway due to construction on that day. We recommend using a detour route such as the Isewangan Expressway.)​

Parking lot: 500 yen per car as a cooperation fee (a temporary parking lot will be set up near the field until around May 20th. *Excluding May 13th and 14th when the Peony Festival is held)

The peonies in SuzukaCity cho, Suzuka are the largest in Japan! You can enjoy 50,000 flowers (approximately 200,000 plants). There is also a poppy field adjacent, so you can enjoy both.

The photo in the article was taken on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Most of the peonies and poppies are in bloom and are at their best.

Also nearby is the large torii gate of TsubakiGrandShrine, and the contrast between the vermilion torii gate and the pink and white peonies is stunning. Please come and take photos and enjoy the show.

*There are no parking lots around the venue. There is a free shuttle bus (one bus per hour) connecting the Fuji Film Manufacturing Co., Ltd. free parking lot to the venue.

There will be sales of cut peonies (up to 5 per person), sales of peonies-related items, and a Suzuka Peony Project panel display at the festival tent. Enjoy it with the 50,000 peonies (approximately 200,000) that are in full bloom under the spring weather.
