Ozone Park The world's camellia gardens

More than 2,000 camellias of 753 species are in full bloom.
*While the growing environment has deteriorated due to diseases and lack of sunlight, the Owase Green Club has been diligently pruning and thinning the trees, but a survey in October 2021 confirmed that no flower buds had formed. it was done. We apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the camellia blooming.
The best time to see them is from January to March.
A total of 753 types of camellia, 544 domestic and 187 foreign, and approximately 2,500 bush camellias, the city's flower, have been planted.
Camellias are planted in a grove of cedar trees and bushes of camellias, leaving the natural environment untouched, and camellias are planted on moss-covered rocky slopes.
Strolling along the promenade in the park while admiring the camellias will fill your mind and body with refreshment. Located on a hill in the Ozone area, it is a great spot with great views of Owase Bay and the islands.
To ensure that you can enjoy it for a long time, we have planted varieties ranging from early blooming varieties that start blooming in September to late blooming varieties that can be enjoyed until around May.
