*A horse-pulling ritual is scheduled to be held in 2025. Uma and Yabusame will not be held.

A ToinTown festival in Toin-cho that is said to have started in the Kamakura period and is said to be used to predict the fortunes of rice cultivation. Young jockeys aged 16 or 17 ride horses in splendid samurai costumes, with flower hats on their heads, and run up an approximately 2.5m cliff in one go. I'll take it away. Even today, it maintains an age-graded social organization centering around young people, elderly people, and preservation groups in the area, and has been inherited for a long time with a high level of interest from local residents. By collating TadoTaishaShrine the Ageuma Shinto ritual at Tado Taisha Shrine and the Ageuma Shinto ritual at Inabe Shrine, it has become a valuable folk cultural property that can reveal the culture of this area's Ageuma Shinto ritual. It was designated as an intangible folk cultural property by the prefecture on March 18, 2002 (H14).
However, in 2025, there will be no horse racing, but four young jockeys chosen from among the parishioners will parade around Inabe Shrine on horseback wearing hanagasa and hakama.

You can view and edit the sightseeing route (My Plan on My Page) that will take you around the selected spots.
