Cherry blossoms along the Miyagawa River (flowering information also included)
Date: Late March to early April
The cherry blossoms along the historic Miyagawa River have been affectionately known as "Sakura no Watari" since the Edo period and have been designated as kachiji by the prefecture.
It has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom spots by the Japan Cherry Blossom Association, and there is a row of cherry blossom trees along the river that stretches for about 1 kilometer and is called Hitome Senbon.
Lighting will be held to coincide with the cherry blossom viewing season.

From the JR/Kintetsu IseCity Ekimae bus stop, go to "(A round/B round)" Tamaru Castle Ruins (Gojo Town Hall) or shimesasu. A short walk from "Wataibashi".
