You can make cups, plates, bowls, etc. using traditional Banko-Yaki yaki clay, and you can even try your hand at painting!

Banko-Yaki factory tour/experience course.
We create traditional works such as purple mud teapots, as well as original works using unique new techniques.
The pottery class is for general adults. Classroom for children.
In addition, we hold pottery experiences for people from overseas.

We make cups, plates, bowls, etc. using traditional Banko-Yaki clay.
Depending on your preference, you can choose between electric potter's wheel, hand-made, and tatara-zukuri.
Even beginners are welcome, as our expert instructors will help you understand.
You can also try your hand at painting.

Junior high school students and above...3,500 yen per person
Elementary school students and younger: 2,500 yen per person
*You can make one additional piece for an additional 500 yen.
Contents: Clay fee and firing fee included
The journey takes approximately 1 hour. *Actual shipping cost required

Tour contents Molding, firing, painting, wood-fired kiln tour, mini gallery tour (reservation required, 60 minutes to 1 day course)
Experience contents: potter's wheel, hand-twisting, tatara, painting, firing in a wood-fired kiln (30 people per session)

Sandblasting experience
You can add a handle to your Banko-Yaki pottery. You can take your work home on the day.
The work consists of cutting the sticker material to your liking, pasting it on the device, and then spraying sand on top of it to scrape the surface of the device to create a handle.
