A samurai residence from the late Edo period that remains in Tonomachi Doshin-cho!

The former home of Jiro Harada, a philanthropist from the Meiji and Taisho eras, is located in a corner of an area called Doshincho during the Edo period.
While representing the samurai residence that has existed since the Edo period, the area that was added on in 1882 recreates the floor plan of Jiro Harada when he returned to Matsusaka. (Tangible cultural property designated by the city)
