A temple of the Toyozan sect of the Shingon sect, which is said to be the founder of virtue. The principal image is an important national asset.
The wooden nose, toad mat, and phoenix in the main hall were created by Tamie Tanaka, a carver from the Todo clan, and are designated as cultural assets of the city.
