MatsusakaCity Cultural Properties Center (formerly Kanebo Cotton Yarn Matsusaka Factory Cotton Yarn Warehouse)
A beautiful long brick building from the Taisho period!
The former Kanebo Matsuzaka branch established in 1923 (later changed its name to the former Kanebo Cotton Yarn Matsusaka Factory,
It was built as a warehouse for raw cotton products (operation stopped in April 1993).
It is a one-story brick gabled building with a girder line of approximately 74 meters and a beam spacing of 10.6 meters.The interior is divided into four rooms, with a single-sided eave on the front (north side).
The exterior walls are made of British brick, with columnar shapes (protruding parts of the columns) appearing at intervals.
The long exterior of the time has been well preserved.
After being acquired by MatsusakaCity, it was reinforced and renovated and is now the site of the MatsusakaCity Cultural Properties Center.
It is used as an exhibition room, gallery, and storage room.
As a building from the Taisho period, the beautiful scenery of the long brick structure remains.
