Yoemonzaka Yoemonzaka
This is a difficult point on the old Yamato Kaido road, so famous that a popular song goes, ``Kasagi Pass or Yoemonzaka? The Hakone of Edo is better without it.'' In the past, there were many carriage shops around here.
In general, the Sanbonmatsuzaka slope that continues from Yoemonzaka to Nagasaka and crosses the border with former Ueno City is collectively called Yoemonzaka.
