Komyouji Temple

Komyoji Temple enshrines a standing stone statue of Jizo Bodhisattva made in the Kamakura period.
In addition, there is also a wooden standing statue of Amida Nyorai and a wooden statue of 25 Bodhisattvas.
The group of 25 Buddha statues were all made during the Edo period, and each one is made to look like they are holding a musical instrument and are standing on top of a cloud.
It is a sculpture of Amida Nyorai arriving from the Western Pure Land accompanied by 25 bodhisattvas, and it is said to be extremely rare to have all 25 bodhisattva statues.
